What Vacuum can I use if I do not purchase
standard vacuum with the Smart Sander Unit?

All household vacuum cleaners are definitely not suitable, only commercial vacuum cleaners and preferably only those with a wet & dry facility, as this indicates a bypass motor, which will resist overheating. It also must have a large capacity paper bag installed before use. There is no other need for special filters or expensive "dust" vacuum units because the Inline Filter, if emptied correctly will extract up to 98% of the dust anyway.

Will the outer rim of the Smart Sander scratch the plaster?

The outer rim of the sander has been designed and set at the correct distance from the Sanding face to prevent it from scratching. At present, with our many sales and feedback from it's users, we have had no problems or complaints with rim scratching.

How do I know the vacuum unit supplied by Smart Sanders
will not overheat due to plaster dust?

Our Vacuum unit was tested over 12 months with no problems at all. The motor Smart Sanders supply has it's own cooling fan which overcomes the problem of overheating that other vacuums may encounter.

How strong is the Hand Sander and the Internal Sander?

The hand sander made from ABS plastic. It is surprisingly strong and is designed and tested by tradespeople for tradespersons.
